Hi, I’m Gabrielle Hasenstab

I am an artist, muralist, and sculptor.

Using classical techniques and natural pigments, I create work that transforms its surface into an immersive environment that tells a story.

My practice includes large-scale, site-specific artwork and original studio paintings, created more intimately and collected by individuals.

Let’s Work Together

Murals and Site-Specific Work

I specialize in transforming spaces through custom murals and relief sculptures. Whether you know exactly what you want, or you could use some guidance, the form below is the best way to get started.

Original Artwork

My original artwork is equal parts observation and expression. I combine my training in classical techniques and a fascination with illustration to explore themes that matter deeply to me. Each painting is highly symbolic, meaningful, and personal.

Many of my murals are painted in the tradition of trompe l’œil—a French term meaning “to deceive the eye.” They are designed to create the illusion of three-dimensional space on a flat surface.

Created with Care

My materials are chosen with intention. I use responsibly sourced or reclaimed supplies whenever possible and paint exclusively with non-VOC products to ensure that my work is low-impact for my clients, their space, and the environment.

These adjustments are part of creating a finished piece that feels cohesive and fully integrated on site.
